YESSSSSS!!!!! Finally found my HG foundation, no kidding! I read about it in this month’s Good Housekeeping magazine w/an interview w/Hannah Storm.
She mentioned she uses Lycogel foundation to cover a birthmark on her face. I thought “Hmmmm, I never knew that she had a birthmark… that stuff must really work!”. I have a port wine stain on the left side of my face. It’s not on my cheek & higher up by my ear, so I usually don’t care too much about covering it, since my hair does that for me.
What I do care about is finding a foundation for my ultra-sensitive skin. So far, every foundation I’ve tried seemed to eventually break me out, or if not outright doing so, I’d noticed an increase in blackheads. Not so with this! I’ve tried so many “pure” foundations for my temperamental, sensitive skin, including just about every mineral foundation out there & had rotten luck… either with skin reactions and/or overall look / texture, etc.
The Lycogel Taupe covers my birthmark, makes my skin look without caking and when I remove it at the end of the day, my skin looks even better! No dry patches, not too oily, no breakouts or no new blackheads!
Lycogel is pricey, but a little goes a long way
This foundation covers well and is kind to sensitive skin. The first few times I used it I felt like I had a death mask on. Then I wised up and used half the amount I would with other makeups, I started putting it on with a sponge and it did resemble a second skin. I was then able to work with it to cover problem areas. I recommend it as long as you take the time to learn how to use it.
Lycogel is different. Sometimes you cannot even tell that you are wearing it. It’s not oily or greasy.
The coverage is very smooth. It does not sink into wrinkles like many other foundations.
It is so light that you actually get tempted to “cake” it on which is completely unnecessary. If you just apply it lightly with a sponge, the coverage is quite impressive.
![]() | Working with children all day can be very active. Since wearing Lycogel I never have to worry about my make-up rubbing off on kids clothes when I cuddle them. I never have to touch up during the day. Who said you can't look glamorous running after kids all day!![]() Date of Posting: 14 May 2011 Posted By: Jessyca Bayir I am a Nursery School Teacher, Uk |

Women with conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, or sensitive skin, as well as people, who have undergone recent aesthetic or surgical procedures, often find that they are extremely limited, if not prohibited completely, when it comes to what they can put on their face. Lycogel is the first truly breathable foundation that provides flawless coverage while improving and actually helping the skin. Most of our patients were introduced to wearing Lycogel after having a procedure done in the clinic, but now they wear it everyday!

“Lycogel has proven to be an invaluable part of my patient after care. Patients feel confident knowing they can camouflage the skin immediately after a procedure and at the same time have sun protection of SPF 30. As a physician it allows me to safely recommend a multitasking product that saves time in a busy practice. Lycogel helps to maximize the treatment results and reduce my patients down time.”
